A butterfly like a flower petal.

 Butterflies also have the function to protect themselves from natural enemies. Some have large, visibly circled patterns on the left and right.

And perhaps, I guess, butterflies make themselves look like flowers or petals.

I want to protect myself like a butterfly. Instead of protecting yourself with thorns like roses.
